call me crazy
i went to visit my friend megan over easter weekend at her college in Tennessee.
let's just say a whole blog could be devoted to the bootlegedness of her school.
i saw these beautiful small oil paintings on the wall of the art gallery at her school, they were about 2 or 3 inches square, and all very different, but united because of their size. i was really inspired by this, so decided to do something like it. but i knew it would be difficult to paint that many different pieces with no inspiration behind each one, so i got the idea to illustrate the book of psalms, yeah, there are 150 of them. im doing 5 inch squares, and im on psalm 5. ah yes- and they are abstract. it's going to be a summer, or lifetime project, but it's been really cool so far. oh and im doing it in the super sweet medium of watercolor.
on to psalm 5 and beyond!
