When isn't the (photo-journalistic) photographer a (photo-journalistic)photographer?

Right, so back in December, my dear friend, Michael asked if I would take some "photo-journalistic" shots at his wedding. He's been working for a photographer who was going to take all the traditional shots. I said sure. Saturday I found myself being more than just photographer; roles I fulfilled included, but are not limited to:
-bridesmaid
-photo assistant
-fiance to the best man, who was the groom's brother
-dj
